What is a Care Package?
It’s an assortment of goodies specifically chosen for a long-term resident at the shelter. Goodies may include food, treats, blankets, toys, and Nermington's gear!
We are on a mission to help long-term residents at the shelter find their forever homes and get spoiled while doing so!
Here is how they work:

Care Packages are filled by Nermington's Crew
Nermington's Crew delivers/ships the Care Package to the sponsored pet
Sponsored pet is spoiled by all the goodies and ready for adoption
Now without further ado, Meet Bella Boop!
Bella Boop has been with the Greenville Humane Society since June 2023. That’s a long time to be in a shelter, and it’s something we never wish on any pup.
Bella Boop is fearful of people she doesn’t know, but when she’s comfortable with you… she is truly the most amazing girl. She’s so sweet, beyond cuddly, and her silly antics will keep you laughing.
She is a girl’s girl and prefers women to men. We’re not sure what happened in her past that made her this way, but it’s difficult to see that trauma come out.
She’s just so, so scared.
Her perfect family would be filled with strong, independent women who would help her come out of her shell and finally give her a chance to relax and trust. We’re not ruling out any homes with men, but they will need to be extra patient and understanding with her. Transition to a new home will take time for Bella Boop. But we promise she’s worth it.
She deserves a comfortable home to call her own. A family to provide her stability and unconditional love. She deserves to finally trust.
She loves to play fetch - balls are her favorite!
She can be comfortable with other dogs but please allow her to meet them first.
Cat’s weird her out so no feline friends.
