What is a Care Package?
It’s an assortment of goodies specifically chosen for a long-term resident at the shelter. Goodies may include food, treats, blankets, toys, and Nermington's gear!
We are on a mission to help long-term residents at the shelter find their forever homes and get spoiled while doing so!
Here is how they work:
Contribute a Nermington's Care Package
Care Packages are filled by Nermington's Crew
Nermington's Crew delivers/ships the Care Package to the sponsored pet
Sponsored pet is spoiled by all the goodies and ready for adoption
Now without further ado, Meet Salami!
Salami is a sweet adult dog looking for his forever home. Rescued by the ASPCA, Salami stayed in their Cruelty Recovery Center until he came to the Greenville Humane Society over 3 months ago. Needless to say, he’s had a long and rocky road to get to where he is now and is very eager to find his new family.
While the amazing staff here at GHS have done so many great things to help him out, Salami really does not like the shelter life, as it makes him very anxious.
Salami is pretty chill and comfortable when left alone, and he’s already housebroken. He might get a little excited when he wants attention, but that just means he really likes you! He has a medium energy level, and he’s gentle and great at playing by himself.
Salami is not a fan of cats, so it’s best if he is the only fur baby in the house.
He also prefers to be a solo dog, but if you do have another doggy friend at home, he’d love to meet them here at the shelter before you decide to take him home too.

Salami can’t wait to find a loving home where he can be himself and share all his love with his new family.
If you take a chance on him, he will prove to you just how great of a dog he really is! Trust me when I say you will want to meet this hunk of love! He is absolutely perfect 🤩
