Nermington's 2024 Wrap-Up: A Year of Wags, Wiggles, and Wins!
Another year has flown by, and we’re so excited to share all the incredible accomplishments and heartwarming moments from 2024 with our beloved Nermington community. This year has been all about making tails wag, spreading joy, and advancing our mission to support our furry friends. From finding forever homes to vibrant events and meaningful moments, here’s a look back at the highlights that made this year unforgettable!
Care Package Pups Finding Forever Homes
One of the most magical parts of Nermington's efforts this year was seeing our beloved Care Package pups find the loving homes they deserve. Every adoption story is a reminder of why we do what we do—it’s about the joy-filled wagging tails, the gentle snuggles, and the unconditional love that comes with welcoming a dog into a family.
Bella-Boop's Journey
Bella-Boop came to the Greenville Humane Society in June 2023 with a timid personality shaped by an uncertain past. Slowly but surely, with love and care, she blossomed into a playful, cuddly pup who had everyone falling head over heels for her silly, sweet antics. On March 5, 2024, her heartwarming transformation reached its peak as she found her forever family.
Salami’s (Now Eeyore's!) Happily Ever After
Salami’s life took a turn for the better when he was rescued by the ASPCA and brought to the Greenville Humane Society. Despite his understandable anxiety about shelter life, Salami’s joyful spirit always shone through. From sunbathing and water games to zoomies and cuddling, he captured everyone's hearts. On July 31, 2024, Salami—now affectionately renamed Eeyore—found a family that will love and cherish him forever.
This year, we celebrated not just these two wonderful adoptions but the true meaning of perseverance, care, and the unbreakable bonds between dogs and their future families.

Giving Back All Year Long
You made 2024 a landmark year for giving back to shelters! Thanks to your unwavering support and our growing sales, we were able to increase our contributions to help pups in need. Transformation happens one furry friend at a time, and every purchase you made at Nermington's gave a paw-sitive new start to a pet deserving of love and care.

Building Awareness and Spreading Joy
This year also marked an incredible opportunity for us to take Nermington's mission to the screen! We were beyond lucky to appear on Fox Carolina to promote awareness for pet adoptions while sponsoring the Santa Paws Costume Contest during BridgeWay Station’s 2nd Annual Christmas event. It was an unforgettable way to share our message and meet many of you who cheer us on!
We’re also thrilled to share that Nermington's was featured in Hello Greenville's 2024 Holiday Gift Guide! Being highlighted as a top choice for thoughtful and meaningful gifts warms our hearts, and we’re so grateful to our amazing community for making this possible.
We were able to collaborate with Dog Squad and create special "Adopt Me" bandanas for their adoptable pups!
Dog Squad is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit shelter-less dog rescue organization dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at life. They rescue high-risk dogs from euthanasia at overcrowded shelters and provide them with a voice when they need it most. Many of the dogs they rescue come with severe and complex medical needs.
Dog Squad is committed to providing essential veterinary care while bridging the gap between the cost of treatment and the resources available to shelters and foster families.

2 Infinity and Beyond: Nermington's 2nd Birthday Party
We officially opened our doors on July 1, 2022, and this July marked two amazing years of Nermingtons! To celebrate, we hosted a special 2nd birthday party on Saturday, July 27th, at New Realm Brewing Co., and it was a day to remember.

The event was packed with amazing vendors, including Dog Training Elite Upstate, Pet Wants Greenville North, Bright N’ Shine Pet Dental, Sweet PawCakes, and Dog Squad with their adoptable pups. Sweet Treats for Wet Noses also offered special snacks with purchases, making it a day full of fun, community, and wagging tails.
To celebrate our 2nd anniversary with the theme “2 Infinity and Beyond,” we’ve introduced two exclusive limited-release prints!
